Discover a haven of peace facing the Beaujolais mountains, in a property dating back to 1860 nestled within an exceptional 5-hectare park. Offering a total change of scenery, our cottage immerses you in a rural setting, imbued with a rich regional historical heritage.

Ideally located not far from the A6 motorway, our cottage provides a relaxing and exotic stopover. By TGV, just 1 hour and 30 minutes from Paris, you'll find yourself in the heart of the Pouilly vineyards.

Let yourself be seduced by the tranquility of the place, which is part of the outbuildings of a remarkable villa nearby (our residence) and its wooded park of 5 hectares (many photos available!). This former Bressan farm - completely renovated in 2024 (completion of the works scheduled for the end of May 2024) - offers a bucolic view amidst hundred-year-old oaks, a blossoming orchard, and recently planted vineyards. As the cottage is still under renovation at the time of this announcement, the provided photos are a realistic and respectful illustration of the surfaces and volumes of the cottage, as well as the kitchen. Only the furnishings may vary, although the intention is to adhere to these photos.

The house has a total area of 170m² (85m² per cottage):

On the ground floor, for cottage #1:

A spacious and bright living room with exposed beams and high ceilings, featuring an entrance area. It includes a fully equipped modern kitchen (induction hob, "Nespresso" capsule coffee machine, oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, washing machine, dryer), a dining table with high chairs, and a seating area with a coffee table for enjoying tea with friends. The room is air-conditioned in summer.

A bathroom with a shower is accessible for people with reduced mobility.

Upstairs you will find:

Three double bedrooms with Queen Size beds (160x200), facing South; Southwest views of the landscape (each Queen Size bed can be converted into 2 single beds).

Each bedroom is equipped with a toilet area with a mirror and sink, as well as reversible air conditioning.

A dressing room provides serene storage for personal belongings.

On the ground floor, for cottage #2, which communicates with Cottage #1:

An East-West facing living room with exposed beams; a fully equipped modern kitchen (induction hob, "Nespresso" capsule coffee machine, oven, microwave), a dining table with a high chair for babies, and a seating area.

Independent toilet facilities.

On the first floor, you will find:

A bathroom with shower and toilet.

A spacious double bedroom (pictured) with air conditioning, Queen Size beds (160x200), with North and West views and a desk for remote work (WiFi / fiber optic) or provided baby cot.

A dressing room provides serene storage for personal belongings.

On the second floor:

A spacious air-conditioned bedroom of 20m² with exposed beams, equipped with four twin beds (which can be converted into 1 queen size + two single beds), a play and reading area. Dormitory possible for children. North view and large skylight to the West.

This house provides access to various outdoor spaces:

An East-facing terrace equipped with a barbecue or plancha for enjoying meals with friends/family.

Parking for up to six cars, close to the entrance of the accommodation for unloading luggage.

A small flower garden and orchard for contemplation.

Children's games, a structure, and a ping-pong table.

A petanque court meeting FFPJP (French Federation of Petanque and Provence Games) standards.

A 10x5m chlorine-free swimming pool, with a shallow area for toddlers, a few meters for children to play while standing, and enough space for peaceful swimming. The pool is surrounded by a large grassy area with several distinct spaces. It is secured with a key gate, under the responsibility of the parents. It is accessible according to the internal regulations which propose schedules and rules aimed at ensuring the safety and comfort of all.

A contemplative walk in the wooded park composed of rare species of hundred-year-old trees (larches, cedar of Lebanon, purple beech, magnolia, 400-year-old yew, oaks, plane trees...), with views of the Beaujolais mountains, in the orchard or in the vineyards planted facing the cottage.

A vaulted cellar is also present in the main villa for an intimate tasting of the region's wines with Frédéric, your host (upon request).

The cottages are located near many tourist sites such as the Roche de Solutré (30 min), Touroparc amusement park (15 min), Georges Duboeuf's Hameau (15 min), the Arciat Harbor Water Plan (15 min), the Brou Abbey (30 min), Acrogivry Park (45 min), Aquatic Gardens (10 min), Bird Park (30 min), Avenas Barrel (25 min), Vonas, Georges Blanc's gastronomic village, La Salle Golf Course (30 min), and the aquatic center of the Trévoux waterfalls (30 min). The proximity to Beaujolais (approximately 10 min) offers the opportunity for magnificent walks in the vineyards, with a panoramic view of Mont Blanc and the famous villages with golden stones. Visit the wineries in Fleurie, Brouilly, Morgon, Chiroubles, and Château de la Chaize or Pizay; cyclists can also enjoy the "Voie Bleue" along the Saône and the "Ain à Vélo" circuits. Trail running and hiking, whether on foot or mountain bike, are available. There's also a tennis court and skate park in Saint Didier sur Chalaronne (3 min). Don't miss the highly renowned Saturday morning market in Chatillon sur Chalaronne (the 3rd largest market in France).
